Hatayspor, one of the well-established clubs of the 2nd League, has never had a Super League experience in its history. His greatest achievement is to complete the 1st League with its current name in the 4th place in the past years.
Having completed the 3rd League Classification group as the leader and the 3rd League Promotion Group 6th place, Hatayspor were entitled to play the 3rd League play-offs and their first opponent was Ankara Demirspor. Hatayspor reached the final by defeating
his opponent Ankara Demirspor 1-1 in regular time and extra time, and 5-2 in total, and its opponent was Yalovaspor.
Despite leading 1-0 in the final, Hatayspor was defeated 2-1 and eliminated. One week before the end of the 2011-2012 season, our team declared the championship and was entitled to play in the 2nd League in the 2012-2013 season.
In the 2012-2013 season, our team, which competed in the 2nd League Red Group and qualified for the play-off by finishing second in the league, lost the final match against Fethiyespor unfortunately and lost the chance of the 1st League. Having experienced
the same misfortune in the 2013-2014 season, Hatayspor lost the chance to be promoted to the 1st League for the second time after losing the final match against Alanyaspor on penalties.
After these seasons, our burgundy-white team, which takes firm steps forward without losing its objects in the 1st League and then the Super League, wants to honor its successful history with new championships.
